The OES visited the Gantz Family Homestead on May 7, 2001. Now known as Gantz Park – The Gardens at Gantz Farm, 27 acres of the Gantz homestead have been preserved as a park, along with the Gantz farmhouse and barn. The homestead itself dates to the early to mid 1800s when the Gantz family settled in what is now Grove City. Today there are bike paths, a playground, shelter houses, barn, gazebo and an amazing garden at the park. If you ever find yourself in Grove City with nothing to do, make sure to check out the park, it is worth it for the garden alone.
Location Information: Public Park
